Job Description

Qualification: BE (Mech/Automobile) with 5 to 8 yrs of experience in design / manufacturing of Power Systems, DG, MIL Shelters related projects, Proficient in CAD tools like Creo, Auto CAD etc., Simulation tools knowledge like ANSYS are value added.

Skill Set:

1. A Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Auto mobile engineering or Higher

2. 6-8years of experience in design / manufacturing of Power Systems, DG, MIL Shelters related projects.

3. Proficient in CAD tools like Creo, Auto CAD etc., Simulation tools knowledge like ANSYS are value added.

4. Good awareness in Engine, Circuit breakers and controls panels.

5. Highly self motivated team player with collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.

6. Good knowledge of drafting, dimensioning, manufacturing processes, relevant standards specifications

7. Strong knowledge in sheet metal fabrications, heavy structural fabrications, welding, MIL grade painting and developing new test methodologies as per ASTM compliance. 8. Knowledge on Structures, Vehicle dynamics, vehicle mountings, Canopy systems, clamping/holding, etc

Scope Of Work:

1. Working as an Independent and reliable contributor in Design and Development of shelter based power system (DG sets Controls panel) and vehicle mounted systems.

2. Performing various tasks in the assigned area (Mechanics, thermal, structural) from building concepts, gathering requirements to designing, implementing, integrating and testing.

3. Understanding and applying applicable processes, standards, requirements including design constraints.

4. Preparing mechanical design calculation, design review presentation and documents.

5. Responsible for create manufacturing drawings, bill of material, design documents, assembly drawings and 3D modeling.

6. Selection of raw materials, shock mounts, Air conditioners etc.,

7. Understand the manufacturing process, surface treatments to meet design requirements,

8. Participating in various technical reviews throughout the product development cycle.

9. Strong knowledge in Aluminum and GI shelters/Canopy with compliance to military standards and ASTM with compliance to EMI/EMC requirements.

10 Determine project schedules based on timeline and execution. 11. Capable to handle internal and external stakeholder during project execution for progress, review, commissioning
