Talend Data Engineer Specializing in API Integration

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Talend Data Engineer with expertise in API integration to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data workflows, ensuring seamless integration between systems through APIs. The role requires deep expertise in Talend, strong API development skills, and a solid understanding of ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• API Integration:
• Design, develop, and maintain API integrations using Talend components to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems.
• Work with RESTful and SOAP APIs, including API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, API Keys, etc.).
• ETL Development:
• Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using Talend to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of data pipelines.
• Data Management:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and create efficient data integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and APIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Talend (Open Studio, Data Integration, or other modules).
• Strong expertise in developing API integrations, including RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or Groovy.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Talend integration with cloud services is a plus.
