Job Description

Exp - 5+ years

Location - Remote

Technical proficiency:

Extensive experience with big data tools and data warehousing solutions.
Ability to review raw data in different formats and coding schemes and propose data
models, including, the design of tables, data types, foreign key relationships, star schemas,
fact tables, reference/dimension tables, etc.
Designing and creating the Data pipelines for ingestion of streamed and batch data into
Azure services like Azure EventHub, Kafka, IoT Hub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake etc.
Spark solution & other Big Data technologies to process large volumes of data. Synapse
analytics, databricks, HDinsights, data factory, stream analytics etc.
Must have experience with different type of databases like relational (e.g., PostgreSQL,
MySQL), NoSQL (e.g., Cassandra, GraphDB, MongoDB, CosmoDB) database systems
Programming: Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, DHIS, R Shiny, Python or
PySpark, R, SQL to develop data wrangling in cleaning data and build pipelines. Transform and extract meaning from the data.
Data Visualization: Design and develop dashboards BI visualization and dashboards with the use of visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau.
Database query languages: Mastery in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases.
Experience in a LMS like OpenEdx or Moodle based platforms are optional.
