Data Governance Architect

Data Architecture Design:

Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.

Design and implement data models (dimensional and data vault) to support business intelligence and analytics.

Define data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality and consistency.

Data Governance:

Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance.

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify data requirements and prioritize data initiatives.

Implement data quality processes to monitor and improve data accuracy and completeness.

Data Engineering:

Design and implement data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.

Optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data ingestion and processing.

Cloud Technologies:

Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions.

Implement cloud-native data technologies and services to modernize the data infrastructure.

Data Visualization and Analytics:

Collaborate with data analysts and business users to visualize data insights and drive decision-making.

Implement data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create interactive dashboards and reports.

Qualifications:

11-16 years of experience as a data governance architect or similar role.

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and data integration concepts.

Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting languages.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing tools (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).

Knowledge of data governance frameworks and data quality best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
