Job Description:

As a Global Trade Data Analyst at Western Digital, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting global trade data to support strategic decision-making and optimize business processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and present data-driven insights that drive efficiencies and enhance our competitive advantage in the global marketplace.

Responsibilities:

Collect, clean, and analyze global trade data from various sources, including customs databases, trade publications, and internal systems.
Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to global trade activities.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in trade data to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and procurement teams to optimize import/export processes, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and threats, and support strategic planning initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and geopolitical developments that impact global trade, and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.
Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve data quality, accuracy, and accessibility across the organization.
Provide training and support to internal teams on data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.
