Technical Lead - DevOps (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

- We are looking for an experienced DevOps Technical Lead with a strong background in Linux, Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes to lead our DevOps team.

- The ideal candidate will have experience in managing infrastructure, automating workflows, and enabling continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

- Knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO is a plus.

- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage scalable and secure infrastructure while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and Manage DevOps Team : Provide leadership and direction to the DevOps team, ensuring efficient workflows and fostering a collaborative environment.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring scalability, high availability, and secure cloud environments.

Automation : Automate deployment, configuration, and orchestration processes using Ansible and Kubernetes to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.

Containerization : Manage and optimize containerized applications and clusters using Kubernetes for high-availability deployments.

CI/CD Pipelines : Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health, performance, and security of the infrastructure.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to systems, networks, and applications.

Security & Compliance :

- Ensure compliance with security best practices, maintain proper access controls, and implement user management practices.

- Integrate SSO, LDAP, and Active Directory authentication where applicable.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to streamline workflows, improve infrastructure, and ensure seamless integration between services.

Mentorship : Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on DevOps practices and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role or related position.

- Strong expertise in Linux system administration.

- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and configuration management.

- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.

- Expertise with Ansible for automation and configuration management.

- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of security practices and experience implementing SSO, LDAP, and Active Directory.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, and SSO integration.

- Knowledge of cloud-native tools and DevSecOps practices.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack.
