Marine Assistant (Fresher) Vetting and Health Safety Security Environment Quality (HSSEQ)

DESCRIPTION

Assist for administrative jobs related to HSEQ & Vetting and to support Marine Superintendents & Line Manager. Mainly carryout and assist in:

• Online Updating of Q88, HVPQ, vessels certificates for the assigned vessels.
• Assist in completing vessel clearance questionnaire as when received for screening.
• To communicate with vetting company for inspection arrangements, co-ordinate with agents for the inspector attendance, follow up the closure of the inspection observations and uploading of comments on the OCIMF site.
• Follow up of the Safety Campaigns, drawing up the safety circulars, Assist in Analyzing NM / NC for fleet vessels
• Follow up on 3rd party VDR audits on vessels and co-ordiante with service provider. Assist in analyzing the data for quarterly and annual reviews
• Assist in follow up of the documentation and upkeeping of the records necessary for the office audits & TMSA.

EXPERIENCE AND RELEVANT SKILLS:

• Graduate with proficiency in computers and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, Power point, Excel Spreadsheets etc.
• An ability to work to deadlines and able to do multi-tasking.
• Must be able to work in a team-based environment and to work with all levels of people.
• Resourceful, meticulous, well-organized and ability to work independently.
• Possess a mature personality with interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Open to work for out of office hours if required.
