Inbound Operation Support - Karaikal

Job Description:

• Procurement professional with vast experience in the cement/process industry based in South India with Hindi and Local Languages
• Experience in Handling Imported Handymax/Panamax Vessels, Port Operations like CHA and customs, Plot management, and Transportation of fuel from Ports to plants
• Vessel Documentation, Coordination with HO Commercial, CHA, Customs, Assessment of B/E and O/C
• Co-ordinating with a Third Party for the quality analysis of Fuels (Pet coke/coal) at Ports daily and addressing the deviations
• Vessel Reconciliations
• Finalization of Contracts Related to Port Operations, Quality Assessment, Fleet Operations, etc
• Responsible for maximization of supplies from Domestic Fuel Sources to plants
• SAP knowledge in Materials Management is preferred.
• Selection of vendors / Floating RFQs / Negotiation / Price comparatives / Technical evaluations / Commercial approvals / Order processing / MIS Reporting / 5s Activities / etc.
• Strong Negotiation and Effective Communication Skills / Decision-making Skills/Customer service & Interpersonal skills / Analytical and problem-solving skills / Time Management skills /Computerized accounting, spreadsheet, word documents, and power points presentation skills / SAP Platform Experience / Flexible and personal Attributes honest & Trustworthy
• Ready to stay in Karaikal, with frequent traveling within South India
• AGE - 25 to 35 years
