Data Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science)
• Computer Programming background
• Certifications related to Data Analytics would be an added advantage

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Should have 5+ years SQL programming experience with expertise in either MS SQL Server or Oracle DB
• Should have 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and hands-on the data extraction techniques like ETL processing using at least 1
• ETL tool (SAS/SSIS/Informatica Preferred).
• Should have 3+ years of scripting (Shell/Bash)
• Preferred Previous Work Experience: Banking
• Preferred Previous Functional Experience: Information Technology

Job Responsibility:

• Contribute to data warehouse design and components, relational database management systems, and database design solutions
• Build a data warehouse/Data Lake by set up and ingesting data sources from various internal and external data sources.
• Develop SQL Server T-SQL procedures/functions for batch processing as well as reports, in line with user requirements.
• Develop solutions to transform data in to useful, actionable
• information for Data Analytics Initiatives.
