Billing Engineer

D.S.Madane Engineers and Contractors, a leading real estate and industry construction company in Pune, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Billing Engineer to manage client and project billing for our industry construction contracts and redevelopment projects. The ideal candidate should be experienced in client billing, quantity surveying, estimation, and BOQ preparation with a passion for the engineering and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage client bills, subcontractor bills, and vendor invoices as per project milestones and contract terms.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, material reconciliation, and ensure accurate measurements as per drawings.
• Prepare and verify Bill of Quantities (BOQ), work orders, and project cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and contractors for billing approvals and clarifications.
• Monitor project costs, track work progress, and ensure timely submission of bills and invoices.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, project budgets, and billing schedules.
• Manage variation claims, extra item billing, and change orders.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and vendors to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Use AutoCAD, MS Excel (Advanced) for quantity estimation and billing documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of all billing-related documents and generate regular reports for management.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Billing Engineer in the construction, real estate, or infrastructure industry
• Strong understanding of billing processes, project cost management, and construction contracts
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
