Sports For All programme goes beyond just physical activity. While students in these schools are rich in talent and intent, playground and equipment/training is a challenge. We aim to bridge this gap by providing a structured framework where children can enjoy, learn, and excel in competitive sports.

Our program provides a platform and pathway for children of all ages to pursue sports as a lifestyle, a career and an opportunity to perform at the highest level of the sport. Create an environment where children of all age groups enjoy & learn within the stipulated sports framework.

About the Role

The Program Manager - Sports will implement and manage our sports initiatives across Municipal Schools. This role will lead efforts to enhance students' physical and mental well-being through structured sports activities, training programs of coaches, and providing essential equipment's across schools.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a team of Sports Supervisors and Coaches, to enhance program impact.
2. Collaborate with ground-level stakeholders and municipal authorities to evaluate program outcomes, refine strategies, and achieve program objectives.
3. Conduct training and capacity-building sessions for Sports Coaches to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
4. Regularly monitor and assess students' progress in sports activities, using data to identify areas for improvement.
5. Prepare and submit timely reports, presentations, and documentation on program activities and outcomes to the management.
6. Coordinate with school administrators, Sports Coaches, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the sports program.
7. Organize workshops, events, and inter-school sports competitions to foster engagement and development.
8. Oversee the procurement and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal usage.

Qualification & Experience:

1. Graduate / Post-Graduate.
2. A Course/Certification in Sports Management will be an added advantage.
3. 5 - 7 years of relevant experience as a Sports Leader/Coach or in a similar role.
4. Seasoned Player with State or National Level Achievements.

Skills & Competencies required:

1. Sports Enthusiast and passionate about promoting sports education in government schools.
2. Well aware about the various levels of competitions District, State and National.
3. Ability to identify talent on the ground and groom them as per need.
4. Identify gaps and train coaches on areas of development.
5. Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently to program locations.
7. Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred).
