Processing India Payroll : Primary focus on India payroll, with exposure to other payrolls (US, Canada, UK and Germany). Calculate employees pay based on days worked, deductions, taxes, and benefits. Including processing Full Final Settlement payments. Partner with the India payroll provider to ensure information is processed accordingly. Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and other relevant data, while keeping information confidential. Compliance : Partner with the payroll provider to ensure compliance with local and state laws, including statutory requirements such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). Handling Inquiries: Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits and payroll tax concerns. Partnering with the India HR to ensure inquiries are handed timely and promptly. Reconciliation : Perform payroll audits to ensure all information is processed correctly by the payroll provider, coordinate with Human Resources and the payroll provider to rectify any discrepancies and ensure timely payouts to employees. Reporting: Prepare and provide necessary reports to internal departments upon request and partner with the payroll provider to ensure reports are sent to any regulatory tax authorities.
Experience : At least 3-5 years of experience in an India payroll role. Skills: Proficiency in payroll software, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
