Software QA Lead - ASPICE

1. Guidance and Expertise: The Software QA Manager provides guidance and subject matter expertise to other roles on testing and Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies and processes.
2. Defect Analysis and Process Improvement: They triage and analyze defects to identify gaps in test coverage and improvements in the team s processes. Additionally, they maintain and continuously improve existing test development processes and practices.
3. Internal Audits: The QA Manager performs internal audits periodically to ensure that the deliveries adhere to defined processes.
4. Quality Control Standards: They facilitate the development and maintenance of quality assurance and control standards and metrics to determine improvement areas and strategies in the overall product development life cycle.
5. Large Testing Efforts: The QA Manager leads large testing efforts for application software, embedded software, and firmware for custom applications with custom hardware.
6. Product and project Health Reporting: They are accountable for the quality of products and report product and project health based on data gathered during product release checkpoints.
7. Non-Functional Items: Ensuring non-functional aspects such as scalability and operability are addressed.
8. Standardization: Participating in efforts to standardize the QA toolset, including defect tracking, test case management, resource tracking, and dependency tracking.
9. Test Coverage: Ensuring 100% test coverage across modules/platforms by reviewing existing test cases and test plans.
Software QA Manager Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor s or Master s in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Bachelors in Electrical or Electronics and communication
2. Skills:
o Familiarity with QA concepts, methodologies, and terminology.
o Proficiency in industry recognised tools in software coding, compiling, testing, system based ASPICE implementation (JIRA and equivalent tools)
o Understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
3. Experience:
o Knowledgeable about data architecture.
o 1-2 years of experience in web services testing and test automation in a highly matrixed SOA environment.
Preferred:

Working Experience on cybersecurity standards pertaining to TISAX, ISO55000, ISO27001, IEC62443 series

Working knowledge on Azure DevOps
