Senior Electrical Engineer – Power System Studies

Qualification-B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech Electrical

Experience – 8-15  Years

Job Description:

• Basic and detailed engineering knowledge in Power plants, Refineries, Offshore, Chemical, Metal & Mining industry,
• Should have worked on below activities.

  HV/MV/LV single line diagrams and protection schematics.

  Load calculations.

  Short circuit calculations

  load flow studies

  Relay co-ordinations, relay settings,

  Harmonic analysis, (preferable)

  Transient analysis, (preferable)

  Arc flash study.

  Motor Starting study

  Insulation Coordination (preferable)

  Electrical equipment sizing.

  Preparation of data sheets/specifications.

  Technical bid evaluation. (preferable)

  Vendor drawing review. (preferable)

  Knowledge on Hazardous area classification (preferable).

• Flexible to work well under tight schedules in a fast-paced team environment.

• High commitment and willingness to perform.
• Mentoring/Training of design engineers.
• Adherence to Quality Assurance system, applicable procedures, Design basis, Applicable design guides / Standards / Specification as applicable.
• Can lead the projects with team of around 5 associates including technical leading, man hour estimates, evaluation & monitoring of progress, change log management, quality.
• Understanding the importance of techno-commercial design optimization and the mutual influence of technical and commercial aspects.

Software skills:

• MS Office, AutoCAD, ETAP, PSCAD, Power Factory, MATLAB
