Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of mutual fund operations, CAMS integration, and experience in testing workflows for financial applications. This role involves hands-on design and execution of testing strategies to ensure the reliability, compliance, and quality of mutual fund systems and CAMS-integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform Manual and Automation Testing of mutual fund workflows and CAMS integrations to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand and validate business and technical requirements.

- Design, write, and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for functional, non-functional, and regression testing.

- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

- Conduct API testing for CAMS integration to validate seamless communication between systems.

- Perform data validation and testing using SQL for mutual fund transaction workflows and reports.

- Ensure that all testing activities comply with SEBI, AMFI, and other regulatory requirements.

- Track and document defects using tools like JIRA, and work closely with the development team to resolve them.

- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by coordinating with business users and ensuring timely issue resolution.

- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test plans, test documentation, and automation frameworks.

- Stay updated on QA tools, testing techniques, and mutual fund industry trends to continuously improve QA processes.

Required Skills and Experience :

Experience :

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 2+ years in test automation.

- Hands-on experience in mutual fund domain workflows, including investor onboarding, KYC, and transaction processing.

- Experience testing CAMS integrations and API workflows.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in manual testing of financial and regulatory systems.

- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.

- Strong skills in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

- Knowledge of SQL for data validation and reporting.

- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail for test and defect management.

- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner is a plus.

Domain Expertise :

- Understanding of mutual fund operations, KYC workflows, and compliance with SEBI and AMFI guidelines.

- Familiarity with CAMS APIs and integration processes.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for debugging and resolving issues.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality testing outputs.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications like ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) or similar.

- Experience in testing other RTA systems like CAMS or Karvy or NSDL.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for QA automation.

- Experience working with financial systems in a microservices architecture environment.
