Field Support Engineer

Job Title: Field Support Executive

Location: Various Locations of TATA Power-DDL

Working Hours: Monday to Saturday,

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Support and Issue Resolution:

• Review IT support requests from users as forwarded by the IT Service Desk through the IT Service Desk Tool.
• Ensure timely issue resolution through coordination with the hardware maintenance service provider for devices covered under third-party agreements.

2. IMAC Services:

• Provide IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services to ensure efficient deployment and setup of IT assets.
• Assist in relocating, upgrading, or modifying user IT setups as per business requirements.

3. On-Site Support:

• Deliver on-site IT support services to users at various TATA Power-DDL locations.
• Respond to hardware, networking, and peripheral device issues as needed.

4. Coordination and Documentation:

• Maintain clear and timely communication with the IT Service Desk to update ticket statuses and resolutions.
• Document all activities, resolutions, and escalations accurately within the Service Desk Tool.

5. Preventive Maintenance:

• Assist in periodic preventive maintenance of IT equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
• 3-year diploma in IT or equivalent.
• Experience:
• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in IT field support.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, networking, and peripherals.
• Ability to coordinate with third-party service providers effectively.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Additional Information:

• Willingness to travel to various locations as part of field support requirements.
• Ability to work independently while ensuring timely issue resolution.
