About Project:

As part of IoT Managed Services, we offer value-added technical support, incident management, proactive monitoring and managed ops services for our international client.

As an IoT Cloud Operations Engineer (L2), your role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of various applications deployed to Cloud. You will also provide top-notch support to international clients in deploying containerized applications on both on-premises and cloud platforms. Your work will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions and optimize the infrastructure to meet clients' needs.

In order for you to be successful, we will provide you with all the necessary training and support.

As there are no distinct borders between the areas, you will need to be flexible and master more than one area. Since the product is evolving rapidly, you must build and maintain your competency and skills on a constant basis. With your active participation, you will make a meaningful contribution to our company.

What will you be doing?

• Work with AWS cloud platform including Compute, Networking, Storage and Monitoring services.
• Manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes(K8s), Helm Charts, AWS ECS, etc.
• Monitor application health, performance, and availability using monitoring and alerting tools, including Prometheus, Grafana, OpsGenie and respond to incidents promptly.
• On-call incident management (rotation basis) for critical customer outages with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Attend weekly calls with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions to meet clients' needs.
• Maintain and optimize infrastructure components, databases, and cloud services.
• Manage configurations and troubleshoot network issues with application ports, protocols, and services.
• Automate routine tasks, create scripts, and enhance operational efficiency and improve operational workflows.

What are we looking for?

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher
• Hands-on Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and their core services, Docker, K8s - helm charts.
• Knowledge of basic programming concepts and experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Strong understanding of Linux command line tools and system administration tasks.
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and HTTP and Messaging protocols like MQTT.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering, or related field.

Good to have:

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for system performance monitoring and incident response.
• Managing applications on Kubernetes clusters.

Languages Known:

• Working Proficiency in English - ability to communicate clearly in English both orally and in writing is required
