Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer Lead to join our team and spearhead the development, customization, and optimization of our Salesforce platform. The Salesforce Developer Lead will be responsible for leading a team of Salesforce developers and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement Salesforce solutions tailored to meet business needs.
The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Salesforce Development, Apex, Lightning Components, and VisualForce, with a demonstrated ability to drive best practices, ensure quality, and mentor other developers in the team.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership & Development :
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, VisualForce, and Lightning Components.
- Develop and maintain complex Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, and other integration tools.
- Architect scalable solutions within the Salesforce platform to support both internal and external business processes.
- Ensure code quality by implementing best practices, design patterns, and using tools for code management (e.g., Git).
- Oversee the implementation of new features, enhancements, and updates to existing Salesforce components
Team Management & Mentorship :
- Guide, mentor, and train a team of Salesforce developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and security standards.
- Provide technical direction, coordinate tasks, and monitor the progress of development projects to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors, supporting ongoing knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Managers, Business Analysts, IT) to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure thorough testing of all code changes and enhancements.
- Partner with project management to scope and plan projects, ensuring that goals and timelines align with business expectations.
- Engage with end-users and stakeholders to gather feedback and make iterative improvements on deployed solutions.
Maintenance, Support & Documentation :
- Manage the ongoing support and troubleshooting of Salesforce platform issues, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of issues.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including data model design, workflows, and configuration changes.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce platform updates and security protocols, proactively managing updates and system patches.
- Stay up to date on the latest Salesforce developments, releases, and best practices, recommending improvements and strategic adoption where relevant.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including expertise in Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce declarative development.
- 2+ years of experience in a team lead or senior developer role, demonstrating leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce integration techniques, including REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning Component Framework (Aura and Lightning Web Components).
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform features.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide actionable solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills :
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, or Salesforce Technical Architect are highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Proficiency with Salesforce CPQ and Communities is a plus.
- Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica) for data migration and integration.
- Experience with AI/ML-based tools within Salesforce, such as Einstein Analytics, is a plus.
