Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Statutory Audit Manager to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in statutory audits within the Indian practice. As a Statutory Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage statutory audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Plan, execute, and complete audits in accordance with Indian auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
- Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to clients.
- Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Ensure timely completion of audit assignments and adherence to deadlines.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing.
- Assist in the preparation of audit reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and presentations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive and effective audit processes.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in statutory audits within the Indian practice.
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage audit teams effectively.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in auditing within various industries such as manufacturing, services, and financial services.
- Familiarity with Ind AS (Indian Accounting Standards) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements in India.-
