Assistant Vice President Finance

Position - AVP/ VP - Finance

Experince - 5 to 7 yrs

Responsibilities:

# Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Ind AS and other applicable laws.

# Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

# Design, implement, and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting

# Support in developing and enforcing financial policies and procedures to ensure the companys financial health and stability.

# Support preparation of the financial forecast, annual budget and ensure accurate and timely information is provided to the stakeholders.

# Prepare variance analysis on a monthly basis and highlight key issues and unusual items and provide recommendation to remediate.

# Prepare and review all statutory and regulatory filling related to NBFC and RBI compliances.

# Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

# Monitor changes in regulations and standards, assessing their impact on the company and implementing necessary changes.

# Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and accounting standards

# Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors to ensure compliance and resolve any issues

# Identify and mitigate risks related to financial reporting and compliance.

# Leverage technology to streamline and enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and compliance processes.

Requirements:

. Educational qualification - CA

. A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, accounting, and compliance.

. Strong knowledge of GAAP, IND-AS, and regulatory requirements

. Good understanding of the financial sector and regulations

. Experience in the financial services sector / Retail industry (banks or NBFCs) would be preferred

. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

. Proficiency in financial reporting software and tools.

. Excellent Excel and computer skills

. Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and make decisions
