Job Description:

Responsible for maintaining and improving the overall pre-analytical, analytical and postanalytical operations within the laboratory.

Responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System and Quality Policy within the laboratory.

Accountable to ensure that sufficient resources are available to provide medical laboratory services, that meets the end requirements of the users.

Implementation of a safe laboratory environment in compliance with good practice and applicable requirements.

To ensure the provision of clinical advice with respect to the choice of examinations, use of the service and interpretation of examination results.

Designing and implementation of a contingency plan to ensure essential services are available during emergency situations.

Authorized to release patient reports and issue amended reports.

To handle patient doctor queries for the report released ensuring they resolved smoothly.
