Role Overview: The Director - Operations will play a critical role in leading and managing UBLR's operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of projects, and driving organizational growth. This position demands a hands-on leader who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, building frameworks for unstructured challenges, and managing diverse teams. The Director Operations will act as a key partner to the leadership team, balancing operational efficiency with strategic vision.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization to ensure seamless execution of projects.

- Manage multiple projects with varying timelines, ensuring deliverables are met with precision and efficiency.

- Develop and implement operational frameworks to drive scalability and impact.

2. Team Management:

- Lead, inspire, and rally teams to achieve common goals while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

- Handle conflicts with poise and diplomacy, maintaining a balance between firmness and approachability.

3. Strategic Planning:

- Work closely with the leadership team to align operational strategies with organizational objectives.

- Identify and pursue new opportunities, forging pathways in uncharted territories.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Act as a credible representative of UBLR, maintaining the integrity of a highly visible brand.

- Manage relationships with diverse stakeholders, balancing competing demands effectively.

5. Social Media and Communications:

- Guide and oversee the team's social media strategies and rollouts to enhance organizational visibility. Ensure consistency and quality across all communications platforms.

6. Local Expertise:

- Leverage a deep understanding of Bengaluru 's cultural and social landscape to inform strategic decisions.

- Utilize proficiency in spoken Kannada to connect with local stakeholders and communities.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Experience & Leadership:

- Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in startup, social impact, or public sector roles.

- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with varying timelines.

2. Skills:

- Strong eye for detail, ensuring operational excellence across all initiatives.

- Adept in social media and communication strategies, with an ability to guide teams effectively.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills to navigate conflicts and build consensus.

- Gravitas, maturity, and credibility to engage with diverse stakeholders.

3. Attributes:

- Comfort in stepping into undefined roles and innovating in unstructured environments.

- Resilience and adaptability to handle the dynamic nature of a pioneering organization.

4. Location & Language:
