Provide dedicated assistance needed to enable HEYDUDE Shoes to deliver on-time . Collaborate with Sr. Production Planner on all efforts towards the optimization of production scheduling, development of positive relationships between HEYDUDE suppliers, distributors , final customers. Play key role in supporting the monitoring and maintenance of work in progress data, contributing communication to drive data-based improvements throughout entire the production process.
What will you do
Monitor and assist with vendor WIP progress and status of all Open Orders at assigned Factories.
Play crucial role in regular data maintenance related to production work in progress.
Prepare, review, and maintain open order summaries on a regular and scheduled basis with Factory Production Planning and Regional Planning teams.
Proactively coordinate with internal PD and PE teams on buy readiness to ensure POs are issued from regions without any holdbacks.
Assist with the communication and prioritization of regional orders in case of issues for on time delivery.
Participate in weekly PO status and WIP status review meetings with HD vendors.
Help Production supervisor identify root causes for late deliveries and assist with the preparation of corrective and recovery plans, regularly communicating status and results to regions.
Coordinate with Factory Production Planning, Operations and Logistics for mode of transport changes and pull in request to meet customers delivery expectations.
Coordinate with Factory Production Planning and US customer teams on all VAS related updates and or changes to customer and brand labelling requirements.
Escalate potential delivery concerns of Regional Planning Teams to the Factory Production Planning Team through consistent data-based analysis.
Support Cancellation Process and PO adjustments and related communication between vendor and HD teams.
Other responsibilities assigned by Production planning supervisor.
Who are you?
College or above
3 years footwear experience with focus on production schedule management, on a customer and vendor facing level .
General understanding of footwear process and logistics process, with strong desire to increase level of knowledge related to various footwear production cycle timelines, with an emphasis on equipment and labor accessed.
SAP/INFOR experience is preferred.
Good analytical mind and meticulous with details and data
Good at in written English and fluent spoken English.
Understanding of Mandarin is preferable .
Good PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
Self-motivated, sense of urgency, able to work independently and good teamwork
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build positive relationships within and outside of the organization.
Travel requirement - Asia, T1 factory/vendor office visits on an as needed basis.
