Job Summary

The Oracle VCP (Value Chain Planning) Functional Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle VCP modules to optimize supply chain planning processes. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle VCP modules such as ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning), Demantra, and IO (Inventory Optimization). The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business goals and improve planning efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation and Configuration:
Lead and participate in Oracle VCP module implementations (ASCP, Demantra, IO) from requirements gathering to go-live.
Configure Oracle VCP applications to meet business requirements and drive supply chain planning improvements.
Business Analysis and Solution Design:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into functional requirements.
Design and develop process flows, perform gap analysis, and provide functional specifications for customizations.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Conduct system testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solution functionality.
Troubleshoot functional issues and work with technical teams to resolve system bugs and enhance functionality.
Training and Documentation:
Provide end-user training and support for Oracle VCP modules.
Create and maintain detailed documentation, including user manuals, process documentation, and configuration guides.
Post-Go-Live Support and Maintenance:
Offer post-implementation support, manage enhancements, and monitor system performance.
Work with Oracle support for SR (Service Request) management as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:
8-10 years of experience in Oracle VCP modules (ASCP, Demantra, IO, GOP).
Proven track record in Oracle VCP implementations, configurations, and support.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in Oracle VCP modules, with in-depth knowledge of supply chain processes.
Familiarity with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and integration with VCP.
Functional Skills:
Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and production scheduling.
Ability to perform business process mapping and requirements gathering.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
