Crimson - Associate - Finance & Strategy (2-4 yrs)

Crimson group of schools is a fastest growing educational institution committed to fostering excellence in education. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join our team. The Associate Finance will play a key role in:

- Supporting the company's expansion and strategic growth initiatives,

- Fundraising, transaction support, and financial planning.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

1. Prepare detailed financial models, including cash flow projections, financial statements, and IRR calculations.

2. Evaluate investment opportunities using quantitative and qualitative methods.

3. Assist in deal structuring and closing principals.

4. Prepare internal Management Information Systems (MIS) for all assets on a monthly basis.

TASKS:

1. Analyze and interpret financial statements, business models, and determine company/transaction valuations.

2. Draft and present documents, including Investment Memos, Term Sheets, Pitchbooks, Teasers, and industry materials.

3. Obtain periodic credit ratings for portfolio assets.

4. Liaise with financial institutions, banks, consultants, rating agencies, and other stakeholders.

5. Provide strategic support to the management team on financial and operational matters.

6. Analyze financial data to inform decisions on new acquisitions.

CANDIDATE PROFILE SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: MBA from Tier-1 or 2 B-Schools, Qualified CA, CFA-L3 completed.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or a similar role.

SKILLSET:

1. Strong planning and organizational skills with a results-driven mindset.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

3. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

4. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE:

1. Understanding of the local education market and trends will be a plus.

OTHER CONDITIONS:

1. Willingness to travel extensively

2. Should be able to join within 30-60 days from date of offer or an immediate joiner is a plus
