Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Atlassian Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Atlassian Cloud Platform applications, such as Jira Cloud, JSM Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Bitbucket Cloud. You will work closely with our software development and IT teams to enhance and optimize Atlassian tools, ensuring they meet our organization s needs.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain Atlassian Cloud products, including Jira Cloud, JSM Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Bitbucket Cloud, and other tools.
Design and implement custom plugins, scripts, and workflows using Atlassian SDK, REST APIs, Java, Groovy, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
Integrate Atlassian tools with other enterprise systems and third-party applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions to optimize workflows, automate processes, and improve user experience.
Perform regular system administration tasks, including configuring users, projects, workflows, issue types, fields, and permissions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Atlassian tools, providing timely support to end-users.
Stay up to date with new features, updates, and best practices for Atlassian tools and provide recommendations for improvements.
Document technical specifications, configurations, and workflows for internal use.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Atlassian Forge or Atlassian Connect for cloud development.
Knowledge of database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting (e.g., Python, Shell).
Atlassian certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Project Administrator, Atlassian Certified Jira Software Administrator) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of Proven experience as an Atlassian Developer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Groovy, and/or other relevant programming languages.
Experience with Atlassian SDK, REST APIs, and web development frameworks.
Solid understanding of Atlassian product architecture and experience with Jira workflows, custom fields, issue types, screen schemes, and plugins.
Must have Experience with cloud-based (Atlassian Cloud) and server-based (Atlassian Data Center) environments.
Must have experience with Atlassian Marketplace and publishing apps for Jira, JSM and Confluence Cloud
Must have experience with JWME, BigPicture,EazyBi, PowerBI,ScriprtRunner, JSU Cloud platform.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
