Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Conducting sales visits, acquiring new customers, and maintaining accurate records.
• Explaining software products, features, and benefits effectively to prospects.
• Maintaining strong customer relationships and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Driving new client acquisitions, managing the sales process, and ensuring successful deal closures.
• Mapping information, account mapping across functional domains, and engaging in solution selling with SOPs designed to deliver customized solutions tailored to client needs.
• Establishing high-level stakeholder connections and building strong external relationships.
• Achieving sales targets and increasing market share through strategic initiatives.
• Developing customer plans, including hiring activities, and implementing strategies to execute and evaluate results.

Key Tasks:

• Sales forecasting, conducting business and customer reviews, and negotiating commercial terms.
• Preparing for and participating in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and meetings.
• Planning and prioritizing sales activities and customer/prospect engagements to achieve business goals.
• Managing product portfolio, pricing, and margins as per agreed strategies.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new customers through ethical sales methods and internal coordination to optimize business growth.
• Responding to and following up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
• Monitoring market and competitor activities and providing relevant reports and updates.
• Liaising and negotiating internally and externally to develop profitable business and sustainable relationships.
• Attending and presenting at external customer meetings and internal meetings with company teams to align on business goals.

Preferred candidate profile - Relevant Experience in Sales of CAD/CAM/CAE
