Assistant Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Oversee the enrolment process and handle the processing of various insurance death claim settlements with the insurance company.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide insurance process training, ensure checks and controls, and manage claims processes and data handling to ensure smooth death claim settlements.
• Maintain strong relationships with insurers, ensuring claim settlements are processed within the defined turnaround time (TAT).
• Ensure a STRONG CONTROLS rating in internal audits, insurer audits, RBI and statutory audits, as well as IRDAI audits.
• Perform account reconciliations.
• Manage compliance with IRDAI regulations and corporate agency guidelines, ensuring commission invoices are raised to insurers and payments are collected within TAT.
• Candidate should possess strong knowledge of Life Insurance Group & Micro Insurance business.
• Must be a team player with strong team management skills.
• Proficiency in MIS, MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint presentations is essential.
• Experience in channel partner management is a must. The candidate should have worked with multiple channel partners in previous roles and excel in communication and internal stakeholder management.
• Fluent in English communication for managing channel partners across the country.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in required domain
• Computer knowledge with MS office and Excel expertise is must.
• Languages known English, Kannada, Hindi & other language is an added advantage
