Job Title: Lead Consultant - QA

Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to assist our client with their digital transformation efforts. We are looking for an individual who possesses a unique balance of technical depth and strong interpersonal skills to build innovative business solutions using the Pega platform. Should be well versed with Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) phases and understand the various software Development Life Cycle Models (SDLC). Incumbent must be fully confident on the testing activities in a Project and be conversant with releases and keeping a track and document the same. Demonstrated ability to use tools and enabling the timely releases is an important responsibility of the Lead Consultant QA. Should be flexible with other aspects of testing according to our Test Framework including planning, scripting, SIT, coordination of UAT and handover to operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Required to liaise with Test Analysts, Business Analysts, Solution Designers, users to ensure and enabling the changes along with meeting the quality standards.
• Executing tests on software usability. Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
• Incumbent must learn and be comfortable with other aspects of testing according to our Test Framework including planning, scripting, and Execution, also must learn to have knowledge of Pega tool and its features.
• QA Lead establishes metrics, mentors team members, and manages outside resources, as well as developing test programs.
• Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers. Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
• Must be well versed with QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered software and improving application quality going forward. Requires Peer Reviews of the Test Scripts from the Team.
• The test Lead will decide on the go/no go decisions on production implementations of the new and modified software, based on project quality and testing scenarios.
• Experience working in Agile methodology.

Automation Testing Knowledge

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand application functionality and identify automation requirements.
• Analyze and review requirements and user stories to create test cases and test scripts.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and report issues.
• Maintain and update test scripts as application changes occur.
• Develop and maintain test data and environments to support automated testing.
• Participate in test planning and strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test automation frameworks and scripts.
