Data Engineer - AWS/Python (2-4 yrs)

Role : AWS Data Engineer

Location : Remote

Timings : Day Shift

Notice Period : Immediate Joiner or maximum up to 15 days.

Job Description :

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 2+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on AWS and Python.

- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and building data workflows.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Redshift, S3, EMR and Athena.

- Proven experience in ETL development and data integration from various data sources.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling and database design.

- Strong SQL skills for query optimization and data manipulation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services (Glue, Lambda, Redshift, S3, EMR) and PySpark.

- Write and optimize Python scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

- Design and implement data models and data warehouses using AWS to support large-scale data storage and processing needs.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity.

- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and build appropriate solutions.

- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and AWS best practices.

- Use SQL to perform data analysis and write complex queries for data retrieval and manipulation.
