Design Engineer (Sustaining Engineering)

We are seeking confident and self-motivated Engineer to work as a part of a strong team of Design Engineers and Documentation executives and will be responsible for Design/Sustaining Engineering for Saunders products. The key elements of this role are the design and development of new and existing products for Industrial and Pharmaceutical valve product range, Preparing GAD and Bill of Material, liaising with customers both internally and externally ensuring designs meets industry needs and standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Use 2D and 3D CAD skills for Industrial and Pharmaceutical Valve design.
• Maintain rationalization and suppress variety in the product ranges wherever appropriate (value engineering)
• GAD Preparation for customer approval
• Bill of Material Preparation against customer orders
• Supporting the manufacturing team for any new assembly combinations
• Design and develop new and existing products.
• Ensure cost effective components are developed.
• Provide Design & drawing support to domestic and global customer orders
• Verify the basic technical data check list received from Sales department.
• Create production drawings with tolerances as applicable.
• Meet the KPIs to fulfill Quality, Delivery, Cost and Internal customer satisfaction requirements
• Visit factory for DCR/ECN implementation, qualification of new designs and cross functional support.

Note : 2-3 years of Valve background is MUST
