Job Title: Logistics Executive Milk Tanker Operations

Location: Patancheru, Hyderabad

Industry: Dairy & FMCG Logistics

Experience Required: 0-4 years (preferably in milk or liquid logistics)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Milk Tanker/vehicle Operations & Route Planning:

• Plan and allocate tankers to Milk Collection Centers (MCCs) and Chilling Centers based on milk availability, distance, and cost efficiency.
• Optimize routes for leased and per-kilometer tankers to minimize cost and maximize tanker utilization.
• Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of milk to processing plants while maintaining cold chain integrity.

2. Managing Tankers & Vendor Coordination:

• Coordinate with Logistics Partners to track vehicle movement, address issues, and negotiate operational costs.

3. Driver & Team Management:

• Supervise and manage on-roll & off-roll manpower to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure manpower adheres to safety protocols, traffic rules, and hygiene guidelines.
• Handle manpower scheduling, attendance, and discipline to ensure 24x7 tanker/vehicle operations.

4. Compliance & Hygiene Standards:

• Ensure tankers/vehicles are cleaned and sanitized as per FSSAI and industry standards.
• Maintain hygiene protocols at MCCs, tankers/vehicles, and unloading docks.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with RTO, GST, and food safety norms.

5. Cost Control & Reporting:

• Track fuel consumption, tanker/vehicle utilization, and cost per trip.
• Maintain reports for monthly tanker lease payments, fuel expenses, and per-KM billing.
• Identify cost-saving measures without compromising operational efficiency.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Experience in dairy logistics, milk tanker movement, or liquid bulk transportation is desirable, not mandatory.
• Strong analytical skills for route planning & cost optimization.
• Ability to handle on-roll & vendor-managed manpower effectively.
• Familiarity with fleet management, fuel efficiency, and compliance norms.
• 24x7 availability for critical operations & issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Prior experience in dairy or food logistics is a big plus.
