All pre & post sales activities \u2013 lead to inquiry to order & payment follow up
Lead follow up, inquiry generation, offer making & further follow up until closure of order
Will require to tour extensively covering designated area for at least 15 days a month to meet with potential and existing clientele and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their requirement, technical challenges and providing applicable solutions
Expected to provide the initial technical expertise to the customer for the challenge faced and then provide a complete solution in coordination with the design & technical team at HO
Collect the required input from the customer for the technical team at HO to design a solution and recommend the equipment.
Submit quotes to the customers, while providing technical expertise to turn the quote into a sale
Sales Promotion for the products suitable for respective active sectors in the area
Will have to be adept with CRM & ERP software to ensure a smooth operational process flow which warrants customer delight
Report generation/ MIS on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. In-depth analysis of the customer profitability, revenue targets and forecast
Should have a market insight for the upcoming projects, competitors and their activity including pricing
Expected to have for thorough understanding of the competitors in your area/ region and their activities
Will be responsible for co-ordination between agents/dealers & HO (head office) Coach, advise and motivate sales engineers to build and maintain a high performance team
Represent our company with a comprehensive understanding of our standard product range and other customized offering
Requirements
Proven work experience as in sales (B2B & B2C) and industrial products/ bulk handling equipment
Successful completion of a bachelors degree or college diploma in technical field or equivalent experience
Will prefer a Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer, but this is not mandatory
4-5 years of experience in technical sale capacity with related field experience
Strong hands on technical ability and proficient in utilizing various sales techniques
Needs to possess good communication skills with excellent command on written & spoken English & local languages
Should possess analytical skills and business acumen for regional business growth
Ability to provide solution based selling to customers. Have a consulting approach that helps build the relationship
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Ability to think on your feet, assess and plan troubleshooting strategies
A self starter with a strong ability to motivate others
Working knowledge of a CRM/ERP tool will be an added advantage
