Architectural/Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

Project Management:

• Lead and manage architectural design projects from initial concept through construction.
• Ensure that projects meet client expectations and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of all project phases.
• Monitor the progress of projects, identify potential issues, and work to resolve them promptly.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Supervise and mentor junior architects and designers.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and provide support in technical problem-solving.
• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and project alignment.

Design & Planning:

• Develop and implement architectural designs that align with client goals, building codes, and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and material lists.
• Review design documents and drawings for accuracy and compliance with design intent.

Quality Control & Compliance:

• Ensure that all architectural designs meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review building plans and designs for compliance with local, state, and national codes.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work aligns with architectural drawings.

Client Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the architecture team.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating their feedback and making revisions as necessary.
• Provide clients with progress updates and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget & Cost Management:

• Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for projects.
• Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring that projects remain within financial parameters.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining design quality.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3-4 years of professional experience in architectural design, project management, and team leadership.
• Proven experience managing projects, client communications, and collaborating with diverse teams.
