E-Commerce Fulfilment and Backend Support Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Order Processing: Process customer orders remotely, conduct quality control checks, and ensure order accuracy before shipment.
2. Shipping Coordination: Arrange collections with shipping services and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
3. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform reconciliations, correct discrepancies, and prepare stock orders as required.
4. Communication: Professionally handle inquiries from shipping service providers, warehouses, and internal teams via email and telephone.
5. Issue Resolution: Coordinate with teams to resolve stock and order-related issues, report updates to the team leader, and ensure smooth operations.
6. Data Management: Use IT systems and tools like MS Excel to manage stock levels, track delivery schedules, and monitor logistics costs.
7. Team Support: Step in for the team leader when required, guiding colleagues and ensuring high performance standards.
8. Continuous Improvement: Adopt a systematic approach to optimize warehouse and logistics processes while meeting deadlines.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Background: A degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other basic IT tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a logical approach to tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
