As a Technical Writer, you will play a key role in creating and maintaining high-quality documentation that helps our clients understand and utilize our cloud and AI products effectively. You will work closely with our engineering, product, and marketing teams to produce user manuals, API documentation, white papers, case studies, and other technical content. Your ability to translate technical jargon into accessible language will be crucial to our success.
Key Responsibilities
Create and Maintain Documentation:
Develop and update user guides, API documentation, installation guides, release notes, and FAQs. Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and consistent with company standards.
Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to gather information and understand product features. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to produce case studies, white papers, and other customer-facing content.
Technical Research:
Stay updated on the latest trends in cloud computing and AI to ensure documentation is relevant and up-to-date. Conduct interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather detailed technical information.
Content Strategy:
Develop a content strategy that aligns with the company s goals and target audience. Identify gaps in current documentation and suggest improvements.
Review and Editing:
Review and edit technical content created by other team members to ensure clarity and accuracy. Proofread documentation to eliminate errors and ensure high quality.
User Feedback:
Gather feedback from end-users to continuously improve documentation. Incorporate user feedback to enhance the usability and accessibility of content.
Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor s degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
Experience:
3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the cloud computing or AI domain. Experience with writing API documentation and understanding of RESTful APIs. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proficiency with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, and Git. Experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, OpenShift, and multi-cloud environments. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience with AI and machine learning concepts. Understanding of software development processes and methodologies. Experience with content management systems (CMS) and documentation platforms
