Join our team as a Senior EMC Engineer where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of our innovative products. In this position, you will use your expertise in EMC design, testing and compliance to develop solutions that meet global regulatory standards. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability, safety and performance of our products in various applications. If you are passionate about solving complex EMC challenges and driving innovation in the field of electromagnetic compatibility, this is your chance to make a difference.
Your tasks will include:
Designing and implementing EMC strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., CISPR, IEC, FCC)
Conducting EMC measurements and analyses during the product design phase to optimize product performance
Developing and validating EMC test plans, including pre-compliance and full compliance testing for radiated and conducted emissions, immunity and susceptibility
Identifying and mitigating EMC issues through root cause analysis, including noise, crosstalk and grounding issues in hardware systems
Collaborating with hardware, software and mechanical engineers to incorporate EMC best practices into system designs
Leading EMC testing in internal or external facilities and ensuring accurate, detailed test reports and documentation
Managing EMC documentation, including design guidelines, test reports, risk assessments and compliance certifications
Staying up to date with evolving EMC regulations, standards, and testing methodologies, and applying this knowledge to ongoing projects
Acting as the primary point of contact for EMC-related discussions with customers, suppliers and regulatory bodies
Ideally you will bring:
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a closely related field
Several years of hands-on experience in EMC design, testing and compliance in electronic systems and proficiency in EMC testing equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators, anechoic chambers)
Strong understanding of grounding, shielding, and filtering techniques for EMC design
In-depth knowledge of global EMC standards and regulations (e.g.,CISPR, EN, IEC, FCC)
Managing and maintaining EMC testing equipment, including periodic calibration to ensure accurate and reliable measurements
Intercultural competence, assertiveness, proactivity and the ability to work independently
