We are Hiring XRay Technician

Qualification : DMIT,DRGA,BSC Radiology

Location : Nanakramguda, Hyderabad

Experience : 3 to 5 years

Role & responsibilities

1. Preparing Patients:

• Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns.
• Ensure patients are in proper attire and position for the X-ray.
• Assist patients in maintaining the correct position during imaging.
• Verify patient information and confirm the procedure.

2. Operating Imaging Equipment:

• Set up and operate X-ray machines and other radiographic equipment.
• Adjust equipment settings (e.g., exposure, position) based on the patient's needs and the specific examination.

3. Ensuring Safety:

• Implement safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, themselves, and others.
• Use lead shields and other protective gear to reduce radiation exposure.
• Follow proper safety and infection control procedures.

4. Image Quality:

• Capture clear, high-quality images for diagnosis.
• Evaluate images for quality, ensuring they meet technical standards.
• Take additional images if necessary to ensure a complete diagnostic view.

5. Patient Comfort and Care:

• Ensure the patient is comfortable and at ease during the procedure.
• Provide support for patients with mobility issues, discomfort, or anxiety.

6. Collaboration with Healthcare Team:

• Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results.
• Report any unusual findings to physicians or radiologists promptly.

7. Record Keeping:

• Maintain patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and results.
• Assist in storing, retrieving, and organizing digital or film-based imaging files.

8. Equipment Maintenance:

• Ensure X-ray equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance or repairs when necessary.

9. Continuing Education:

• Stay updated on new radiologic techniques, safety guidelines, and technological advancements.
• Obtain certifications and maintain professional development in the field.

10. Adherence to Legal and Ethical Standards:

• Follow all legal, ethical, and institutional guidelines regarding patient care and radiologic practices.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy regulations.
