Tech Support/Deployment Specialist

We are looking for a Tech Support/Deployment Specialist to join our team, someone who is passionate about technology and thrives in a dynamic, hands-on role. This position involves providing technical support for deployment and QA Validation activities of the installations of our security surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that our customers receive top-notch configurations and network adaptations, leading to seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Remotely assist technicians during installations, ensuring customer satisfaction with the completed device setup.
- Configure Region of Interest (ROI) for alarm cameras within the security surveillance software platform.
- Provide walkthroughs for camera placements and validate installation accuracy.
- Handle device deployments remotely, including network configurations such as port forwarding.
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to camera connectivity, video quality, and remote access.
- Perform prescribed Quality Assurance (QA) processes to ensure a flawless operating environment for installed systems.
- Communicate the status of installations and any pending tasks effectively to all stakeholders.
- Provide customer support by addressing queries and offering technical assistance as required.
What Were Looking For:
- Familiarity with basic Linux commands and basic networking knowledge (Windows, Linux, RDP, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in customer handling with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work collaboratively with remote technicians and ensure customer satisfaction.
Additional Details:
- Shift Timings: Candidates will be required to work in either the evening shift (5:00 PM 2:00 AM) or the early morning shift (4:30 AM – 12:30 PM).
- Weekend Availability: Candidates may be required to work on weekends on a rotational basis (WFH on weekends).
