DevOps & AWS Engineer

As a DevOps and AWS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure following industry best practices.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AWS services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

CI/CD Pipeline Development:

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like AzureDevOps, GitLab CI.
• Integrate automated testing, security scans, and other quality gates into the CI/CD process.
• Monitor and optimize pipeline performance.

Automation and Scripting:

• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as Python or AWS Lambda.
• Develop and manage custom automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Monitoring and Logging:

• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Set up alerts and dashboards using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any incidents.

Collaboration and Support:

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.
• Provide support for production environments, including on-call support when required.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of new tools and technologies.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and AWS.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Proven experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and IAM.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AzureDevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
