About the position-

We are seeking a Content Writer to join our content marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, writing, editing, and proofreading both short-form copy and long-form content. You will also contribute to our content strategy by developing and refining content calendars to ensure alignment with brand messaging. This position requires writing and editing copy based on briefs from the product and marketing teams, with a strong focus on SEO optimization. Experience working with a creative agency or involvement in brand/product campaigns is highly preferred.

Job responsibilities are but not limited to-

• Content creation: Develop strategic, compelling, and research-driven content for various platforms, including websites, promotional emails, blogs, social media, press releases, and brochures. Craft persuasive short and long form content for various lead generation and sales campaigns.
• Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread all content to ensure clarity, adherence to briefs, and plagiarism-free submissions.
• Ideation: Contribute to content strategy development by brainstorming and identifying content gaps.
• SEO Optimization: Ensure all content is SEO-optimized, including the integration of relevant keywords and the implementation of essential SEO tags (e.g., title tags, meta descriptions, alt tags, and anchor texts).
• US Language Neutralization: Apply US language neutralization to ensure content is adapted for a broad American audience.
• Audience Engagement: Translate complex concepts into clear, engaging narratives tailored to diverse audiences.
• Social Media Content: Generate innovative content for social media and text advertisements to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Brand Voice: Ensure all content adheres to the company's style guide while consistently reflecting the brand's unique voice across platforms and formats.
• Industry Research: Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and stay updated on the latest trends and developments.

Required skills, experience and qualifications-

• Qualification: A bachelors degree (Journalism, English, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory) 
• Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Research Skills: Strong research and analytical thinking abilities.
• SEO Knowledge: Proficient understanding of SEO principles and their application in content marketing.
• Multitasking Ability: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Creativity and Attention to Detail: A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail.
• 10+years experience preferred.
