Purpose Statement:
To plan, implement, and direct the sales activities of the company in designated area to achieve sales objectives.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Generating leads / new business development by market survey, visiting new potential clients, attending trade shows, taking references from existing clients etc.
2. Excellent presentation and communication skills
3. Control and monitor the assigned area, map the market demands against our share of supply and optimise our sales in the assigned area by frequent visits with sales team/channel partners, and define short-term strategies to achieve the objectives.
4. Meet the individual targets set by management.
5. Work on sales strategy given to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues.
6. Co-ordinate and monitor online sales activity (online queries via website or social media)
7. Investigate lost sales and customer accounts.
8. Generate timely sales reports for the assigned area daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly and discuss with management.
9. Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis & feedback.
10. Analyse data to identify sales opportunities
11. Attend trade meetings and industry conventions.
12. Maintaining healthy relationships with all clients by meeting them on regular intervals.
13. Providing pre and post-sales support to clients. Attend and provide proper solutions to their problems/ issues.
14. Responsible for recovering the outstanding payments within the given time. Frequent visits, telephonic follow-ups and mailers must be regularly given till the receipt of payment.
15. Should be able to convince the client technically by preparing presentations and convert the use of existing products to our products on technical grounds.
16. Customer profile for this post:
1. Tunnel / Mining infra Companies
2. New construction: mid-sized to Large warehouse developers and contractors where waterproofing and construction chemical requirements need to be attended. Maintaining a rapport with the decision-makers and closing the sale with the sales executives/managers in the loop.
3. Distributors: Both Mid & Large-channel channel partners who focus on construction chemicals for infrastructure projects.
Qualification & Experience:
1. Master's degree holder, MBA in sales,
2. Preferred from civil background (diploma or BE/ B. Tech).
3. Professional services background where more than half of the professional career should be spent in construction chemicals / PEB Infra or Infrastructure related products
4. Solid business development and sales experience in the infrastructure sector
5. Strong knowledge of concrete / fiber reinforced concrete or other construction chemicals in supply and application.
