Job Description
- Project Coordination:
- Assist in the development of project plans and timelines.
- Coordinate and monitor project activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resources.
- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes.
- Act as a point of contact for project-related communication between the client, contractors, and internal teams.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, budgets, and schedules.
- Maintain records of project changes, variations, and approvals.
- Assist in compiling reports on project progress and milestones for senior management.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Help in managing project budgets and ensure costs remain within the allocated budget.
- Track expenses, purchase orders, and invoices related to the project.
- Assist in forecasting future costs and addressing budget overruns.
- Quality Control and Safety:
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in civil projects.
- Assist in inspecting completed work to ensure it meets specifications.
- Scheduling and Resource Management:
- Assist in creating and maintaining project schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Ensure that resources (personnel, equipment, materials) are available as required for the project.
- Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:
- Assist in resolving issues or conflicts that may arise during project execution.
- Troubleshoot problems related to project scheduling, budget, resources, or quality.
