Job Description : Network and Security Engineer L2

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.

- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.

- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

- Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices, including IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.

- Implement and maintain network security policies, standards, and procedures.

- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement network and security best practices.

- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and support teams.

- Document network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or Security Engineer.

- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and VLANs.

- Hands-on experience with network security technologies such as firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

- Experience with network monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG) and packet sniffers (Wireshark).

- Knowledge of security standards and compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, HIPAA).

- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) preferred.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
