Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions using Power BI.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and build data models, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.
- Optimize and improve existing BI solutions for better performance and usability.
- Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all BI solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and reports.
- Stay updated with the latest BI trends and technologies to continuously improve our BI capabilities.
- Ability to work 3rd shift when necessary to assist with Nightly Batch Process monitoring and triage.\
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in BI development, with a strong focus on Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at once.
- Good problem-solving skills and superb attention to detail are essential.
- A team player with the ability to communicate effectively and develop solid working relationships across multiple levels.
Prefered Skills:
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Exposure to leading projects involving multiple stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at once.
