The Salesforce.com (SFDC) Administrator will be a technical subject matter expert on the salesforce.com platform. Using their analytical thinking, technical expertise and problem-solving skills they will develop and deploy fixes or enhancements that immediately add value to our organization. The SFDC Admin will be responsible for documentation and the development of new or enhanced functionality that is in line with our architectural and security standards. The role will require a high degree of collaboration and teamwork.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountabilities:
Manage fixes and enhancements through overall environment (includes Production and Sandbox environments)
Manages data accessibility and restrictions on user accounts to ensure proper level of security.
Ensure you are following all IT related procedures with relation to Change Management, Security, Administration
Work effectively with our IT Business Partners, users, vendors and application development teams
Contribute to the requirements gathering process with IT Business Partners and our end users.
Continuously review industry standards, best practices and the evolution of the Salesforce.com platform to keep ConMed up to current standards.
Work with peers to appropriately coordinate and communicate activities in alignment with overall company and IT mission, vision, and values
Activities:
Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
Manage all administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks
Manage and coordinate the Salesforce.com data feeds and integrations
Work to maintain best practices associated with the de-dup of data and to ensure data integrity
Provide assistance, guidance and support for 3rd party vendor searches
Assist in and provide training for new users and growing the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
Ensure we are following best practices and taking proper advantage of Salesforce.com capabilities for solutions.
Contribute to the ability of end users to utilize Visualforce pages and Apex feeds where appropriate.
Work with the business to help drive end user adoption
Attend key business meetings or provide updates on Salesforce projects with IT Business partners
Build relationships with key business individuals and within IT
Participate in the project planning process
Partner with the user base to ensure that testing and functionality are completed, and the business is satisfied with the results
Develop implementation plans including new integrations and migrations from Sandbox to Production instance.
Required Experience and Skills:
Bachelor s degree in IT or related field.
Certified Salesforce Administrator ADM 201
Minimum 3-5 years relevant IT experience with 3 years as a Salesforce.com Administrator
Experience working in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Experience in development associated with Lightning Experience
Strong understanding of the platform with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views and other content of comparable complexity
Strong data management abilities
Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and capabilities
