Workday HCM Technofunctional Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and Workday-certified professional to join our team as a Workday HCM Consultant. The ideal candidate will have over five years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM with expertise in Security, Business Process Configuration, and Absence Management. This role focuses on designing, configuring, and optimizing Workday solutions to align with business requirements and ensure seamless integration with organizational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules, including Core HCM, Security, Business Processes, and Absence Management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective Workday configurations.
• Ensure robust and efficient security design within Workday, managing roles, user access, and permissions.
• Design and implement streamlined, scalable Workday business processes to optimize HR workflows.
• Administer and enhance the Absence Management module across all US states, ensuring adherence to federal and state compliance requirements, including FMLA, Sick Time accruals, and Paid Time-Off policies.
• Conduct testing, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Workday configurations and integrations.
• Lead system upgrades, new feature rollouts, and the adoption of Workday system releases.
• Provide end-user training and create comprehensive documentation to support effective utilization of Workday features.
• Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and third-party vendors for all Workday-related projects and initiatives.
• Support audit activities by ensuring compliance with relevant standards and maintaining proper system documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Required: Workday Certification in HCM, Security, Business Process Configuration, and Absence Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Workday HCM, with strong expertise in Core HCM, Security, and Absence Management.
• Proven ability to design, configure, and optimize complex Workday business processes to align with business needs.
• Familiarity with Workday integration tools and advanced reporting capabilities.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of other Workday modules, such as Time Tracking, Payroll, or Talent.
• Understanding of HR compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
• Hands-on experience with data migration and integration projects related to Workday systems.
