Your Job :
- Candidate should have minimum 5+ years of exp in AppDynamics Admin or AppDynamics L2 level (troubleshooting AppD Incident) and must be currently working in AppDynamics.
- Ready to take Incident reduction initiative related to AppDynamics.
- Hands on experience in AppDynamics machine agent installation and configuration.
- Hands on experience in AppDynamics Java agent installation and configuration for different tech stack like Tomcat, WAS ND, Genfire, Tibco BW, Microservices etc.
- Hands on experience in AppDynamics machine agent extension configuration for different techstack like Webserver, Nginx, IBM MQ, Tibco EMS etc.
- Hands on experience in creating dashboards and reports on AppDynamics.
- Having good knowledge in all AppDynamics parameter that are needed to be configured in JVM argument.
- Having good knowledge in troubleshooting the issue related to Node not reporting in controller post agent installation.
- Should be aware of configuration changes needed if one application need to be migrated from one controller to another controller.
- Location of AppD agent logs.
- Enabling different mode in agent logs.
- Should be aware of basic command, ownership and permission changes in Unix.
- Operating in shifts in support engagement.
- Having Problem Solving, Logical and Communication Skills.
- Willingness to upskill in related technology as per project need.
- Business transaction identification, flowcharts, triaging and troubleshooting leveraging AppDynamics, Alert setup and management leveraging AppDynamics.
Your Capabilities :
- Follow ITIL Best Practices and work on various ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Change Management and Service Now Requests etc.
- Onboard different application in AppDynamics though various steps like preparing document for Machine/java agent installation.
- Then provide support in Change Request and guide MW team during those agent installation.
- Troubleshoot the issue if node doesn't report post agent installation.
- Technically lead and groom a team of support executives who are geographically distributed.
- Implement Intelligent automation tools, dashboards to reduce manual effort.
- Understand the overall technical architecture and implement improvements.
- Must be willing to work in shifts (no night shift) and weekends (compensatory off will be provided).
Qualification : BE/ B.Tech.
