Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of robust applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Java/JavaEE technologies and frameworks, as well as experience in the development of multi-tier applications. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications using Java and JavaEE technologies.
• Work with multi-tier application architectures using Java, J2EE technologies, and related frameworks.
• Develop RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
• Work on core Java technologies (Java 7, 8/11) and frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Struts.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices and industry standards.
• Participate in requirement analysis, architectural discussions, and create high-level and detailed designs.
• Lead the delivery of multiple modules and drive the development of software solutions.
• Mentor and lead a team of 5-10 developers, providing guidance and oversight.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging of applications.
• Utilize tools such as Jira for defect management and Git/SVN for version control.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of software systems.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), from analysis to implementation and maintenance.
• Develop software systems for enhancements and new product development.
• Create and maintain necessary documentation as part of deliverables.
• Work with application servers such as WebSphere, Tomcat, and other web servers.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 7, 8/11), J2EE, and Object-Oriented design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Servlets, JSP, and web technologies.
• Strong experience in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Spring Framework.
• Proficient in Hibernate or any other ORM frameworks.
• Experience in working with RESTful and SOAP Web Services.
• Good understanding of Design Patterns and Design Principles.
• Strong database skills including SQL & PL/SQL and DB Design.
• Experience with JMS, EJB, and web server technologies like WebSphere, Tomcat, etc.
• Knowledge of UI Frameworks such as ReactJS and Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with PCI and OWASP security standards.
• Knowledge of Secure Coding Practices and compliance with relevant security standards.
• Experience with Defect Management Tools (e.g., Jira) and Version Control systems like Git/SVN.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
