Concinnity Media - Scrum Master - Project Methodologies (6-10 yrs)

Job Description :

- Lead, plan, and support program and project delivery using Agile and Waterfall frameworks.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle, while monitoring and managing scope changes.

- Manage and run Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, facilitating collaboration and continuous improvement among team members.

- Maintain JIRA/MPP for task tracking and project management, ensuring that all tasks are documented, prioritized, and assigned, while also monitoring progress against deadlines.

- Leverage the Scrum framework, including Scrum events and artifacts, to enhance team performance and deliver high-quality outcomes.

- Provide weekly status updates to clients, ensuring transparency and addressing any concerns proactively.

- Drive program management best practices to ensure successful project execution, including risk management, resource allocation and oversight of project financials to achieve strategic goals

Scrum Master Duties :

- Facilitate daily Agile and Scrum events/ceremonies stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Coach the team on Agile and Scrum principles and best practices.

- Remove impediments to ensure team's progress and productivity.

- Shield the team from external interference to keep them focused on the sprint release goals.

- Resolve conflicts and foster a collaborative and self-organizing team environment.

- Hands-on experience of Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence, ADO)

Project Management Duties :

- Track project progress, manage risks, and address issues promptly.

- Stakeholder management, to ensure alignment and effective communication.

- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and leadership.

- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.

Agile Leadership :

- Promote and support agile ways of working within the organization.

- Mentor team members on agile values, principles, and practices.

- Continuously seek ways to improve team performance and effectiveness.

- Implement metrics to track and report on team productivity and project progress.
